Title: [Guide] /mplayer
Post by: Ahmad3 on 08 03, 2015, 10:25:59 am
This tutorial contains the following:

1. Information about the Music Player (/mplayer)
2. How to use the music player and add songs
3. Script commands
4. Videos to explain the functions and more

Information about the Music Player

This script allows you to play your own music using .mp3 links as the current /mymusic script does, with the difference you can make playlists with those links, so you don't need to search for them every time you want to play a song, you can also toggle sound effects, change the sound speed, and more.

You may also add a radio channel as the song URL and it'll work well in case it's not in the CITphone radio.
There's another way to get the song URL by some websites on the internet such as mp3skulls.to, get-tune.net, offliberty, pilovali.nl/youtube-to-mp3 and plenty of websites.

Script commands

- /mplayer (Shows/hides the GUI)
- /mplayer stop (Stops the current song if playing)
- /mplayer play (Play the song you stopped before or replays the current playing song)
- /mplayer next (Plays the next song)
- /mplayer prev (Plays the previous song)
- /mplayer vol [0-100] (Sets the volume)
- /mplayer speed [0-2] (Changes sound speed)
- /mplayer random {all} (Plays a random song from the current playlist (If "all" is included, this takes all playlists))
- /mplayer [songIndex] {playlistIndex} (Plays the song with that index)
- /mplayer help (Shows/hides the help window)

Those videos explain everything:

You're also able to play .pls and .m3u links. Those are radios, and yes there are enough radios in the mobile phone, but sometimes yours is missing, but you can still listen to it via /mplayer.

Also added Diamond's video with my video.
You should add the http://mp3skull.com website so people can get their songs from there if they want to.

This can be added if possible: You can bind some commands for a faster way to open GUIs or even to switch between your songs.
/bind key mplayer
/bind key mplayer stop
/bind key mplayer play
/bind key mplayer next
/bind key mplayer prev
/bind key mplayer help

This is second method.
He showed how to find link by using mp3skull.cr.

There you can find only popular song.
But if you want non-popular song you can use this method ! :)

Added it to my tutorial.

You don't have to make a new topic for a small part that can be placed inside the existing one.

@Ahmad666

I've made a /mplayer song upload system, if people can't find his song at mp3skull or any other site. They should download the song from somewhere like youtube & when they have the song they are able to upload the song at http://cit2radio.net/songs.php. ((Account is needed)) (http://i.imgur.com/teiRQ85.png) After they uploaded the song they can find it back in the 'Song list' (http://i.imgur.com/FBQlmev.png).

If they press on the link 'Listen' they get redirected to a new page (http://i.imgur.com/JzROvg4.png) were they can copy the URL and paste it in /mplayer

Maybe you could add this so your tutorial.

Can you add Pilovali.nl, Youtube to MP3 (https://pilovali.nl/youtube-to-mp3/) as way to convert your songs into direct mp3 links I believe it'd be helpful.
