I have a mirrorless camera (Fujifilm X-T1) so honestly I don't know of what makes a good smartphone camera. For sure though, image quality is significantly worse with my phone's compared to X-T1's, but I guess it's the same case for every other phone because mobile lense tech ain't quite there yet.

Good news is Essential constantly updating its camera app on Play Store. So at least you know they'll keep trying to improve it software-side. The 360 camera is a nice gimmick, but I don't have it.

I just got a new android tablet today (my very first one) as a late Christmas gift. It's a Neon IQ NQT-7W. Don't know if anyone will recognize that lol, but I couldn't care less if they do. It's awesome and I love it.
